He may be small.

But he's as cute as can be.

Friendly too.

Dresses

Just the sweetest lil' Yorkie ever.

my neck of the woods

The Harvard Graduate School of Education
is located on the tiny street called Appian Way in Cambridge, Massachusetts. It's definitely no Harvard Yard. But it's home.

And then there's the Cronkhite Graduate Center: the old, red brick building (shown above right) that houses the 9' by 9' room I call home. Affectionately known as "da cronk," I count myself quite lucky to live here - just one block from most of my classes and two blocks from work!

The Yard
is another world altogether. Seriously. Its old, historic buildings, open spaces, and pristine grounds are really something to behold.

Even once you've left the Yard, you'll find no McDonald's or fast food restaurants. The city of Cambridge has made sure that - even with the influx of a plethora of shops in recent decades - Harvard still keeps at least some of its old-world charm. These pictures (taken on a gloomy winter's day) don't do it justice!
